Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order.
By proceeding with your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.


1. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All designs, concepts, artwork, revisions, proofs, and images created by Lotus & Paper remain the sole intellectual property of Lotus & Paper.

These materials must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, or imitated in any form without prior written consent from Lotus & Paper.

2. Deposits & Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required before any design work or proofs commence.

  • Printing production will not begin until full payment has been received and final design approval has been given.

  • All prices are quoted in AUD unless stated otherwise.

3. Design Proofs & Revisions

  • Orders include three (3) complimentary design revisions.

  • Additional revisions will be invoiced per proof and must be paid before further proofs are provided.

  • Semi-custom design edits may include changes to:

    • Colours

    • Paper stock

    • Printing methods

    • Layout

    • Wording

Fonts and major design elements may incur an additional fee.

4. Client Responsibility & Errors

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs for spelling, grammar, dates, names, and layout details.

  • Once a design has been approved and sent to print, no changes can be made.

  • Lotus & Paper is not responsible for any errors approved by the client.

  • If errors are identified before production, Lotus & Paper will happily correct them.

  • Any reprinting required due to client-approved errors will be charged to the client.

5. Production & Timelines

  • Production timelines are estimates only and may vary due to supplier availability, printing methods, or peak wedding seasons.

  • Lotus & Paper is not responsible for delays caused by late approvals, delayed payments, or external suppliers.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Lotus & Paper is not responsible for damages, losses, delays, or errors caused during transit.

  • Shipping delays caused by couriers or incorrect delivery details provided by the client are outside our control.

  • Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility transfers to the courier service.

7. Stock Availability

All paper stock, envelopes, and materials are subject to availability.

  • If a stock item becomes unavailable, Lotus & Paper will notify the client as soon as possible.

  • Any price differences resulting from stock changes are not the responsibility of Lotus & Paper.

8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom and personalised nature of our products:

  • Returns and refunds are not accepted.

  • This includes design services, printed stationery, custom wax seals, and custom items.

9. Wax Seals

Wax seals are handmade and subject to natural variations.

  • Variations in size, shape, texture, bubbles, and petal placement are expected and are not considered defects.

  • If you have a preference for a consistent shape (e.g. round or organic), this must be communicated at the time of ordering.

10. Social Media & Marketing

Lotus & Paper reserves the right to photograph and share completed designs on social media, websites, and marketing materials, and to use them as samples.

If you prefer your order not to be shared, please notify us before receiving your invitations.

11. Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled after design work has commenced will forfeit the deposit.

  • Orders cancelled after printing has begun are not eligible for refunds.

12. Limitation of Liability

Lotus & Paper is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services.

Our total liability is limited to the value of the order placed.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
